we have been exploring the properties of 3d shapes. Exploring what shapes roll, slide or stack when going down a ramp, and counting faces, edges and vertices through lots of hand on learning experiences including building the shapes using magnetic sand matchsticks and play dough. We also sorted images of objects into groups based on their characteristics.
