We have been exploring ordering and measuring objects using various tools including pop sticks, counters, unifix, teddies, dominoes. On Tuesday children worked in pairs to measure various objects around the room. Today children worked independently to make and order play dough worms, then create a large worm using all their play dough and use various informal units to measure the worm, some children recorded their findings on whiteboards or recording paper.
