As the weather was so windy and wet, we decided to bring the outdoors into our classroom by creating nature mandalas.
We quickly collected outside nature parts before the rain came then used a combination of our collected items as well as many nature loose parts we already have in the classroom.
We have been exploring fractions, symmetry and patterns throughout the term and the mandalas were the perfect way for us to show what we have learnt.
Children were able to work individually or in pairs. The children were extremely engaged and asked to show the Year 6/7 class as they were so proud of their creations.
