We have been exploring the design process in technology. Last week children followed the design process of having a need and designing a solution. We read the book Feathers for Phoebe, then children designed a bird with new accessories, they had to list the materials required, draw a labeled diagram and then create the bird with new accessories including a crest, feathers and any thing else they wanted to add to their bird.
