Last term our class participated in the Grant High School Digital Technologies competition, with most of the students choosing to put forward a 3D design for a desk organiser. Students used the free software Tinkercad to generate their design. They wrote a brief description of their concept and included precise measurements and pictures in their submissions.
It turns out that four pairs of our students won prizes offered by Uni SA, consisting of vouchers and USBs. All the winning entries were created by girls, which is fantastic news for the cause of Women In STEM, a hot topic at the moment!
Congratulations to Amalia, Abby and Shaylah, Rachel and Macy and Isabelle and Jessica on their designs and prizes!
