Today for Pink Stumps Day we did lots of pink themed activities. Unfortunately due to weather we were unable to play the year 4-7 game planned for this morning. The 4/5 class started the day by creating a picture using pink two-dimensional shapes. Students demonstrated their understanding of shapes and some of us were able to use three-dimensional shapes as well.

After lunch the 4/5 and F/1 classes buddied up to create their disease fighting monster. Students were very creative in their design and thinking about how their monster could help fight a disease. One group came up with a monster that had soap and spikes to fight off infections.

For the last lesson of the day some of the 4/5’s opted in for a mini game of cricket. Luckily we only had to endure a slight drizzle. Even though the weather was terrible, we had a great day!
