Good afternoon,
before I sign off for the weekend, I would like to say a special congratulations to our Mil Lel Primary School Basketball teams who played today in the SAPSASA District Basketball for 2022.
It was a pleasure to watch the Yr 4, 5 and 6 students respresent our school today in the boys and girls competitions. The standard of their skills, team work and their commitment to do their best was evident from the start to the end of the day and we are so proud of them all.
Our boys team faced some tough competition today but never gave up and should be congratulated on their attitude and teamwork, it never faultered.
Our girls team was impressive from start to finish! They worked well supporting each other all day on and off the court and should be proud of their efforts WINNING 4 out of their 5 games and QUALIFYING for REGIONAL FINALS!
Thank you to Seb Marano, Sarah Lock, Elly Hogben and Max Schutz for their work in preparing the students and for their coaching efforts today. Thank you also to the many parents who came out to watch, it was appreciated.
Well done, you have made us all proud.
