We have been working with place value in Maths. Today we chose a number and represented it using multiple hands-on resources, making sure to partition the hundreds, tens and ones.
We also recently counted how many popsticks we have in the classroom. We put them into groups of ten, then grouped those into hundred, and then grouped the hundreds into thousands. We found out that we have 2019 popsticks!
