Today we made models to help us understand how we see the moon’s different phases. We placed a sun at one end of the model and then we placed 8 moons around a hole to reflect that the moon revolves around the earth. We coloured the halves of the moons black that were not exposed to any sunlight. By poking our heads up through the hole in the middle (where the earth would be) we could see the different phases of the moon.
