A couple of days ago we began a Science unit about Matter which involves us learning about solids, liquids and gases. We spent some time talking about the differences and then we investigated what would happen if we mixed custard powder with water. The result was a substance that was hard to classify as either! It looked and felt like a liquid, but when it was squeezed and ground it felt like a solid!
